The mechanism of the camshaft drive

a. The mechanism of chain tensioning camshaft drive
Fig. 95 a. The mechanism of chain tensioning camshaft drive: 1 - cork; 2 - laying cork; 3 - ball; 4 - spring seat; 5 - compression spring; 6 - finger; 7 - relief valve; 8 - a sealing ring; 9 - ball; 10 - compression spring; 11 - the push rod; 12 - a lock ring; 13 - a bolt of fastening of an asterisk on a camshaft; 14 - a washer bolts on the camshaft sprocket; 15 - a bolt of fastening of an asterisk on a camshaft; 16 - lock circuit; 17 - shoe chain tension; 18 - shoe bearing pin; 19 - chain tensioner gasket to the cylinder head; 20 - chain tensioner

b. Other parts of the camshaft drive mechanism
Fig. 95 b. Other parts of the camshaft drive mechanism: 1 - two-row drive chain; 2 - planting pin; 3 - thrust washer camshaft; 4 - camshaft; 5 - strap-dampers chain; 6 - bearing pin pacifier chain on the cylinder block; 7 - the bearing pin pacifier chain; 8 - pin boarding; 9 - the chain guide groove

The mechanism of the camshaft drive assembly
Fig. 96. The mechanism of the camshaft drive assembly: 1 - the crankshaft sprocket; 2 - tensioning shoe chain; 3 - chain tensioner; 4 - star camshaft drive; 5 - pacifier chain; 6 - sprocket drive of the fuel pump; 7 - pacifier chain; 8 - the lever of the chain tensioning drive of the oil pump; 9 - the oil pump drive sprocket

All mentioned in this section can be replaced by parts mounted on the car engine. Location chains drive the camshaft and all related components shown in Fig. 95 a and 95 b. In Fig. 96 shows a drive mechanism of a camshaft assembly.
Chain drive camshaft actuates the sprocket of the camshaft sprocket of the fuel pump, and itself is driven by a crankshaft sprocket. The chain is supported by two straps - dampers. Tensioning chain regulated by hydraulic tensioner disposed in the crankcase, and acting on the tensioning shoe chain made of light metal.
Camshaft drive sprocket is fixed to the shaft key and bolted M8.
The second circuit is designed for a small oil pump drive. This circuit is driven by a second crankshaft sprocket (on the crankshaft of the engine mounted twin star) and is equipped with its own tensioning device.
