Adjusting the thrust control pressure

Start and warm up the engine, and then tighten the hose of a vacuum regulator and stop the engine.

Carbureted engines

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the traction control pressure in the area of the engine.
  2. Move the cup to pull the tip of the ball, and then slide it forward again, until you feel slight resistance.
  3. In this position, the cup should be at the zone of the coupling ball and loosely fit over it.
  4. If necessary, change the length of the rods connecting to the drive rod of the accelerator pedal.

Engines with fuel injected

Steering thrust control pressure is made similarly, except that these vehicles cup ball end is movable.

Adjusting the thrust control pressure

1 - traction drive of the accelerator pedal
2 - draft
3 - traction control transmission

4 - tie rod
5 - the adjusting screw
