- Remove both the lower dash panel.
- In the engine compartment socket wrench, unscrew the two screws on the coupling to the steering mechanism. Slide the sleeve up to the stop in the steering mechanism.
- Inside, socket wrench, unscrew the bolt of the lower end of the column to the clutch.
- Slide the sleeve down and then, trying not to damage, remove it from the vehicle. If necessary, remove the gaiter.
- Install in reverse order, with sealing ring at the lower end of the tube a small amount of grease.
- Make sure that the coupling bolts are placed in special slots, if it is provided constructive.
