Removal and installation of the lock of a steering column lock
To replace the faulty lock is necessary to remove the entire steering column and drill out the locking finger. Cut the steering

| - Remove both the lower dash panel.
- Remove the dashboard.
- Unplug the connector from the ignition.
- Bend the legs and remove the frame of the ignition from the instrument panel.
- On models of early release, remove the plastic cap.
- Remove the lock cylinder by turning the ignition switch to ?�I?�, then slip the (insert) a piece of wire (diameter 1.25 mm) into the notch of the lock cylinder, unscrew the cap and remove the lock cylinder. Remove the wire, turn the key to "0" and remove it. Remove the cap, insert the key and turn to position ?�I?� and set the lock cylinder into the case, pressing the lock. Undock connector.
- Loosen the bolt lock steering column lock.
- When the ignition key is in position ?�I?� press the locking finger with a small screwdriver and gently turn the lock, and then turning the key to "0", remove the key.
- Remove the locking of the steering column lock.
- Insert and turn the key in position ?�I?�, remove the ignition or the lock cylinder (depending on configuration).
- Installation is carried out in reverse order.
