Check and adjustment of corners of installation of forward wheels

The correct alignment of the front wheels has a big impact on the quality of handling and reduces tire wear. Before they test, make sure that the car is loaded with a dead weight with dressing and equipment and that the tire pressure matches the specified.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put the car on level ground, put the wheels in the position of a strictly linear motion, and then roll back the vehicle to 4-5 m back and forward again.
  2. Using the tool to check wheel alignment, make sure that the wheels are toe-specified in the documents (0 ? 15'-35 ? 0 'or 2.0-4.0 mm).
  3. If adjustment is required, loosen the clamp bolts on both tie rods and rotate the transverse traction on the same angles to obtain the desired angle setting.
  4. The distance between the centers of globular fingers of both transverse rods must be equal. Tighten the clamping screws (see. Removal and installation of the transverse and longitudinal steering rods).

Check the camber angle and caster pivot axis it requires special equipment and should be carried out in the workshop. The angle of camber is adjusted by eccentric bolt located at the inner ends of the lower suspension arms. The angle of inclination of the longitudinal axis of rotation is controlled by varying the length of the support rod front suspension.
