Removing the brake wheel

Front brake

1 - Disc
2 - guard
3 - knuckle
4 - Self-locking bolt
5 - brake caliper
6 - wire retainer

7 - a bolt
8 - connector
9 - fastening clamp sensor
10 - the hub of the front wheel
11 - self-locking bolt

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Prepare the car and remove the right front wheel.
  2. Remove the brake pads (as described above).
  3. Unscrew the brake fluid reservoir of the master cylinder, beneath it gasket sheet of polyethylene, screw cap tightly, in order to reduce the loss of liquid during further operations.
  4. Remove the bolt wear indicator on the brake caliper.
  5. Loosen the brake hose on the brake caliper.
  6. Remove the screws and remove the caliper from the knuckle, turn the hose connection nipple.
  7. To remove the rear wheel brake operations are similar, but lift the rear of the car and remove the caliper from the wheel hub.

Dismantling

Checking the position of the groove

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the dust cap, but do not damage the crimped ring.
  2. The air pressure of the tire pump connected to the inlet fitting on the hydraulic drive of the brake caliper, pull one of the pistons, piston holding the opposite.
  3. By blocking the hole excavated piston (large tires), similar to the second piston slide.
  4. Mark the pistons and cylinders are appropriate to avoid confusion in the assembly.
  5. Perform fault detection surface of the piston and cylinder. The presence of burrs, sticking, abrasions need to replace the entire brake caliper.
  6. Remove the O-ring groove of the cylinder and install the new O-rings, clean them with clean brake fluid. The rings are installed manually.
  7. Lubricate the piston with brake fluid and insert them into the corresponding cylinders. Rotate the pistons so that their recesses arranged at an angle of 20 ? relative to the lower part of the bracket, and conduct a test of their position pattern.
  8. Push the piston until it stops and install the dust caps.
  9. Fit the heat shield caps, and make sure that the drive of the piston acts not less than 0.1 mm above the surface of the heat cap. Caps external and internal pistons are different and are not interchangeable.
  10. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Spend the removal of air from the hydraulic drive.
