Filling and "pumping" of the steering pump



PERFORMANCE ORDER

Activating the air-filled steering pump in any case unacceptable!

  1. Illustrative material on procedures for filling and leveling power steering pump is shown in illustrations, which includes all the links in the text.

    Removing the cover from the steering pump

  2. Remove the cover and fill the tank of the steering pump (30a) to a level about 10 mm below the upper edge - if necessary unclip the air tube (47).
  3. In 2-3 minutes, start the engine a few times and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock - the air from a hydraulic path of the power steering should be automatically deleted.
  4. Check the fluid level in the reservoir Steering, if necessary, make appropriate adjustment (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  5. Make sure there are no signs of development of leaks of hydraulic fluid hydrostrengthening steering system.
  6. Replace the cover when sliding, - refit the air tube (47)
