PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Corresponding illustrative material is presented in the illustrations, which include all the links in the text.
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove the module driver's front airbag (120) (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors horn (38b and 38c).
  5. Bring the front wheels in the straight-ahead position, then lock the steering column by removing the key from the ignition.
  6. Hold the steering wheel (32), unscrew the bolt (32c), - the bolt must be replaced without fail.
  7. Carefully remove the steering wheel (32), - try not to damage the wiring.
  8. Check the condition of the contact spiral drum (A45) electrical horn and the airbag in case of need make its replacement (See below.).
  9. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of combination of the landing labels.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Corresponding illustrative material is presented in the illustrations, which include all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the steering wheel (see. Above).
  3. Loosen the screws (32h) just enough to allow removal of the contact drum (A45), - the bolts at the same time play the role of protection against rotation.
  4. Carefully remove the spiral drum assembly (A45) from the pipe jacket of the steering column.
  5. Disconnect the connector (38d) wiring drum assembly (A45).
  6. Assess the drum (A45), - the upper (32f) and lower (32g) section of the drum assembly is firmly attached to each other by means of clamps. Replace defective components, - try to avoid pinching the coil spring (32e) when connecting sections of the drum.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order. Ensure completeness landing drum (A45), - deepening should be combined with a locking latch (arrow), if necessary, make the alignment.
