Removing and installing the steering pump



Details of the installation of the steering pump


PERFORMANCE ORDER

All the self-locking nuts and bolts must be replaced without fail!

  1. Details of the installation of the steering pump are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the drive belt.
  3. Pump the hydraulic fluid from the tank GUR (30a).
  4. Disconnect and immediately plug the return line (30f).
  5. Disconnect and immediately plug the hose pressure expansion (30i).
  6. Release the fasteners and remove the steering pump (30), complete with power steering reservoir (30a).
  7. Having hooked a screwdriver, remove the retaining ring (30c) and remove the power steering pump reservoir assembly.

If necessary, the tank can be removed individually without removing the pump.

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace all sealing elements (30b, 30h), track correctness of landing of the locking ring (30c) fixing the tank.
