Switches



Removing and installing ignition

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Give fixing screws and remove the bottom casing of a steering column.
  3. Give the screw securing the ignition assembly (fasteners and components ignition shown in an accompanying illustration).

5 - shear bolts
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the lock from the ignition switch.

Installation is in the reverse order.

Removal and installation of combined stalk

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove facing ignition.
  3. Give fixing screws and remove the bottom casing of a steering column.
  4. Remove the steering wheel and push button horn.
  5. Remove the top casing of a steering column.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors combined stalk.
  1. Loosen the clamp fixing the combination switch (see. Accompanying illustration).
  1. Push the switch to the side of the instrument panel, turn it slightly and remove from the steering column.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

Make sure that the fitting projection switch was in response hole only then tighten the screw clamp.

Removal and installation of switches located on the dashboard instrument cluster

At the bottom of the trim panel facing the instrument panel located potentiometer intensity of illumination of devices, switch the heated rear window, and (with appropriate equipment) mode switch Wiper / Rear Window Washer.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  1. Gently prying with a screwdriver (sheet under its sting cardboard plate to protect the panel), remove the relevant switch panel (see. Accompanying illustration).
  1. Disconnect the rear wiring and remove the switch.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

Ensure the quality and condition of the attachment of an electric socket at the rear of the switch.

Removal and installation of the switch alarm

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove the center of the instrument panel.
  3. Press one of the fastening clips, push the switch forward and remove it from the front panel.

Installation is in the reverse order.

Replacing the flasher

Flasher unit located under the dashboard, near the axis of the brake pedal (see. Accompanying illustration).


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector breaker.
  3. Give fixing screws and remove the bracket breaker unit with bracket from the vehicle.

Installation is in the reverse order.

Removal and installation of switches located on the center of the instrument panel

Among located in the central part of the dashboard switch actuator includes a radio antenna, rear air conditioner switch, the switch actuator switches the top hatch and locking differentials.


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Gently prying with a screwdriver (sheet under its sting cardboard plate to protect the panel), remove the relevant switch panel.
  3. Disconnect the rear wiring and remove the switch.

Installation is in the reverse order.

Removing and installing switch for central locking and electric windows

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Gently prying with a screwdriver, remove the switch from the panel of the door trim.
  3. Disconnect the rear electrical connector and remove the switch.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

Ensure the quality and condition of the attachment of an electric socket at the rear of the switch.

Removal and installation of the switch of the electric mirrors

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Gently prying with a screwdriver (sheet under its sting cardboard plate to protect the panel), remove the dashboard appropriate switch (see. Accompanying illustration).
  3. Disconnect the rear electrical connector and remove the switch.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

Ensure the quality and condition of the attachment of an electric socket at the rear of the switch.

Service gauge-switch of stoplights

The gauge-switch of stoplights located on the brake pedal bracket under the dash (see. Accompanying illustration).


Check of serviceability of functioning

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Depress the brake pedal and make sure to include a stop signal.
  2. If the brake lights do not work, disconnect from the gauge-switch wiring.
  3. Install the jumper wire between the terminals of an electric socket. Now, if there was the inclusion of stop signals should make adjustment of the gauge-switch, or replace it with a serviceable.

Refitting

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect from the gauge-switch wiring.
  3. Loosen the lock nut and remove the gauge-switch with the brake pedal bracket.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Ensure the quality and condition of the attachment of an electric socket at the rear of the switch.
  2. Adjust the gauge-switch.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Adjust the brake pedal free height.
  2. Release the switch and adjust its position. Try to get between the stop and the end of the threaded portion of the gauge-switch of the gap in the 0.3 ÷ 1.0 mm.

Removal and installation of the gauge-switch of the permission of start (only model 3.0)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect from the gauge-switch wiring.
  3. Loosen the lock nut and remove the gauge-switch pedal bracket.

Installation is in the reverse order.

Removal and installation of the gauge-switch of a control lamp cocked position of the handbrake lever

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Give the screws that secure the center console and slightly lift the handbrake lever. Remove the center console of the car.
  1. Give a fixing bolt and remove the gauge-switch of a control lamp wiring (the location of the gauge-switch shown in the accompanying illustration - center console removed).
  1. Remove the gauge-switch of the vehicle.

Installation is in the reverse order.

Service gauge-switch of fires of a backing (Manual transmission models only)

The gauge-switch reversing lights located on the transmission. Adjusting the gauge-switch is not provided.

Check of serviceability of functioning

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, make sure that the sensor switch is closed (there is a conductivity) when you switch the box on the reverse. In the derivation boxes reverse gear position sensor switch should be open (no conductivity).
  3. Replace faulty sensor switch.

Refitting

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the gauge-switch of the transmission.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before installation, lubricate the threads of the gauge-switch brand sealant.
  2. Ensure the quality and condition of the attachment of an electric socket of the gauge-switch.

Service gauge-switch of a control lamp of inclusion of all-wheel drive mode

The gauge-switch of a control lamp mode 4WD transfer case is fixed on (see. Accompanying illustration). Adjusting the gauge-switch is not provided.


Check of serviceability of functioning

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Using an ohmmeter make sure available conductivity gauge-switch modes when the H and L 4WD transfer case. The other provisions of the conductivity of the box should be absent.
  3. If necessary, replace the gauge-switch.

Refitting

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the gauge-switch with the transfer case.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before installation, lubricate the threads of the gauge-switch brand sealant.
  2. Ensure the quality and condition of the attachment of an electric socket of the gauge-switch.

Removal and installation of gauges-switches the interior lighting when opening the doors

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open the door and remove the door sensor-switch protective cover.
  2. Give fixing screw and partially remove the gauge-switch of the door.
  1. Disconnect the wiring (see. Accompanying illustration) and remove the gauge-switch of the vehicle.

Installation is in the reverse order.
