Coolant hoses

The number, order and structure of the hoses vary depending on the model, but generally used a common procedure.

Check the strength of the hose clamps or new hoses after several hundred kilometers to escape.

If necessary, fill the cooling system.

Removal and Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before you start, check available new hoses with new clips, if necessary. It is recommended to replace the hoses with clamps.
2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system (see. Subsection 2.4.5), while maintaining the coolant if it is suitable for reuse.
3. Oil the hose clamps if they are damaged by corrosion.
4. Release the clips from the respective hose. Three types of hose; screws, springs and tie.
5. Screw the screw is released by turning it counterclockwise. Spring clamps are released its compression lugs and remove it from the nozzle of the hose. Tie clips are not reused and are best cut with scissors or clippers metal.
6. Remove the wires and hoses that are attached to the removable hose. In any case, try to remember the location of all the previous elements.
7. Remove the hose in a circular motion with his pipe. Do not damage the pipes in such delicate components such as the radiator. If the hose is firmly stuck, often the best way - to cut it with a sharp knife, but again not to damage the pipe.
8. Before installing a new hose connections with soapy water grease or other lubricant for rubber. Do not use oil or grease which can corrode the rubber.
9. Install the hose clamps on the ends of the hose after the hose to install pipes.
10. Secure the hose at that position, and then secure the hose clamps.
11. Fill the cooling system.
12. Start the engine and check for leaks.
