Coolant temperature

The sensor is mounted at the rear of the cylinder head (flywheel side).

The sensor is a thermistor, fueled by constant voltage, and is included in the chain index.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. As the liquid heating current through the sensor increases and arrow pointer must deviate to the right. Faulty sensor must be replaced.
2. If incorrect temperature readings check the operation of other devices.
3. If the devices do not work, check the supply chain dashboard.
4. In the case of erroneous readings of instruments replace the voltage regulator (mounted on a printed circuit board instrument panel).
5. If only the temperature gauge is faulty, then proceed as follows.
6. In the case of under-readings, disconnect the wire from the sensor and touch the masses.
7. When the ignition is switched arrow deflected, the sensor is defective.
8. If the reading does not change, remove the dashboard (see. Subpart 14.9) and check the wiring from the sensor to the pointer, and the power indicator.
9. If the power is supplied and the wiring is OK, there is a problem pointer.
10. In the event of excessive readings, disconnect the wire from the sensor.
11. If the engine is cold arrow deflected to the left side of the scale, the sensor is defective.
12. If the reading has not changed, check the rest of the chain.

Withdrawal

On some vehicles to access the sensor will need to disconnect and move aside the hoses and wiring.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Drain the engine has cooled down to the level of the liquid thermoswitch.
3. Disconnect thermoswitch.
4. Carefully remove the thermoswitch, remove the seal (if provided).

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clean thermoswitch and apply thread sealant.
2. Replace the seal (if provided).
3. Next, the assembly is done in reverse order.
