Cylinder Head



Dismantling


A warning

The repair of the items supplied by the manufacturer in the parts and repair the new cylinder head. Due to the fact that the procedures for disassembling and testing will need special tools and spare parts are sometimes difficult to find a more appropriate purchase appears the new head of the block, than dismantling, check and repair the former head of operation.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the cylinder head.
2. Remove the intake and exhaust manifolds, if these details have not yet been removed (see. Subsection 6.1.12 and subsection 6.1.13).
3. Remove the valve levers and gidroregulyatory.
4. Remove the bolts and remove the cylinder head cooling system pipes.
5. Squeeze the first valve spring using the tool and remove the crumbs. Carefully loosen the valve spring, remove the spring plate, a spring and a basic washer. Remove the valve stem seals with pliers guides.
6. If the compression plate of the valve spring device does not leave and does not release the crackers, then tap the device directly over the plate hammer with soft brisk, which will facilitate the removal of the plates.
7. Remove the valve from the cylinder head from the side of the combustion chamber.
8. The valve should be stored together with the breadcrumbs, spring, spring plate and the support washer. The valves also should be marked to establish in its place, except for those who have found a strong wear, because of which required valve replacement.
9. If the valves are installed again, then place them in a separate plastic bag provided with a corresponding number. Keep in mind that the valve N1 is next to the timing chain cover.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the backup washer, spring, and then dip the valve stem cap in fresh engine oil. Carefully put the cap on the valve stem and plug. Do not damage caps with dressing on the valve stem.
2. On the guide bushing cap press them with a mandrel.
3. Coat the valve stems with fresh oil for the engine and install valves in the corresponding guides on the cylinder head, observing the order of the original installation. New valves should be installed in those seats to which they were lapped.
4. Place the spring washer on the support, oriented so as to tightly wound spring coils were turned down.
5. Install the spring plate.
6. Squeeze the spring and insert the biscuits in the groove on the valve stem. Release valve spring and remove the device. Similarly establish crackers remaining valves.

A warning

To keep the crackers in the grooves of the valve while removing the device, secure crackers, causing them point grease.


7. After all the valves turn the cylinder head and valve train parts besiege light hammer blows through the wooden prorate the rod of each valve.
8. Check the cleanliness of the split surfaces of the cylinder head and the pipe cooling system. Apply on the surface of the strip of sealant and install the pipe, firmly tightening the bolts.
9. You can now assemble the cylinder head with the other parts.
