Checking the air valve cold start



Check valve in the engine is cold when the coolant temperature is below 30 ?� C in the following order:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the central high-voltage wire from the ignition distributor.
2. Disconnect the connector 15 (see. Fig. Air filter and intake pipe of the engine with the fuel injection system) 16 from the valve.
3. contacts connecting pads 15 to connect the voltmeter, start the engine and leave to idle. The voltmeter should show pressure of not less than 11.6 V. Instead of a voltmeter, you can use a test lamp.
4. Clamp the air supply hose to the valve 16. The engine speed should decrease.
5. On the hot engine block 15 connected to the valve 16. Clamp the air supply hose to the valve. The engine speed should not be changed. A defective valve replaced.
