Fuel pump



Fuel pump

1 - the fuel filter;
2 - O-ring;
3 - strainer;
4 - pump tank;
5 - a tube from the fuel accumulator to the fuel filter;
6 - a tube from the pump to the fuel battery;
7 - the fuel battery;
8 - tube drainage of the fuel distributor;
9 - Tube draining fuel into the fuel tank;
10 - a tube feeding fuel from the fuel tank;
11 - an arm of the pump;
12 - Rubber cushion;
13 - Special nut;
14 - an arm of the fuel filter;
15 - a bolt of fastening of the fuel filter;
16 - a bolt of fastening of the tube from the pump to the battery;
17 - shock;
18 - plate;
19 - return valve;
20 - a sealing ring;
21 - mounting ring pump;
22 - the fuel pump;
23 - a bolt of fastening of the fuel;
24 - sealing washer;
25 - the fuel line to the fuel distributor

The fuel pump is installed together with the fuel filter and the fuel battery underneath the car in front of the fuel tank.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a wire from "the minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. To establish the car over a viewing hole, or lift the rear end.
3. Disconnect from the pump connector with wires.
4. Loosen the shock absorber 17.
16 5. Remove the bolt and disconnect the tube from the pump 6.
6. Loosen the nuts and remove the plate 18.
7. Loosen the three screws and remove the ring 21.
8. Remove the pump 22, the seal ring 2 and the filter 3.

Install the pump in reverse order with the following:

- Replace the O-ring 2, before installation to lubricate it with gasoline;
- When installing the ring 21 tabs on the pump should enter into the recesses of the ring;
- If the check valve 19 is removed, replace the O-ring 20 and tighten the valve to 20 Nm (2.0 kgf-m);
- Replace the sealing washers of the tube 6;
- Tighten the shock absorber 17 to 20 Nm (2.0 kgf-m);
- Start the engine and check for signs of leakage of fuel.


A warning

Do not operate the fuel pump if there is no fuel, t. To. The fuel is a lubricating and cooling unit for the fuel pump. If the pump is to run out of fuel, it can be damaged or even catch fire.
