Check valve engine has warmed up

Elements of system of injection of fuel K-Jetronic

1, 5, 9 - electrical connection pads;
2 - O-ring;
3 - the fuel from the fuel pump;
4 - fuel discharge pipe to the fuel tank;
6 - thermal switch valve cold start;
7 - pipe cooling system;
8 - valve engine has warmed up;
10 - a pressure regulator;
11 - an adjusting washer;
12 - the fuel distributor;
13 - meter air flow;
14 - piston fuel distributor;
15 - a sealing ring;
16 - cap;
17 - the screw of adjustment of quality (structure) of the mixture;
18 - nozzle;
19 - the inlet pipe;
20 - a lining;
21 - the valve of cold start

After the launch, during the warm-up, the engine requires a richer mixture. The valve 21 (see. Fig. Scheme of injection-Jetronic fuel K), which is actually a pressure regulator, reduces the pressure on the piston 22, the fuel distributor. As a result, plate 18 and rises above the piston 22 moves upward, resulting in the enrichment of the mixture.

Check valves produce the engine is cold in the following order:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the central high-voltage wire from the distributor of ignition and connect it to the "weight".
2. Disconnect the electrical connector 9 (see. Fig. Elements of the injection system Jetronic-K) from the valve 8.
3. Connect a voltmeter to terminals 9 and the pads include a starter. The voltmeter should show pressure of not less than 11.5 V.
4. Switch off ignition. Connect an ohmmeter to contacts of the valve. The ohmmeter should show resistance 20-26 Ohm, otherwise the valve replaced.
