Solenoid valve engine stop

Engine is switched off via a solenoid shut-off valve, which, when applied to a disable interrupts the supply of fuel in the injection pump. Shortly before the diesel fuel enters the filling opening of the plunger distributor, it passes near the solenoid valve stops. When the enable switch devices and the starter is rotated to the first position, the control valve is energized and the fuel enters the pump. When the key is turned to the "O" stops the voltage supply to the valve. Stop valve closes the channel of the fuel and the engine stops. Cars with automatic transmission equipped with a mechanical device partially stop at the front of the pump, with which you can stop the motor in case of faulty solenoid valve stop.
