The accelerator cable (only for engines 1Y and AAZ)



Removing the cable. Removal was performed as follows:
- Remove the decorative panel under the steering column;
- Gently press the accelerator pedal and disconnect the cable from the lever on it;
- Remove the cover sleeve of a cable in a place where it passes through the engine shield to the cable could be moved freely;
- Remove the bracket and disconnect the end of the accelerator lever on the fuel pump;
- Pull the rubber O-ring and remove the cable from the mounting bracket;
- Pull the cable through the hole in the engine shield.
Installation. Install in reverse order. After installation, adjust the accelerator cable so that when fully depressed accelerator pedal arm pump was turned all the way.
