System cold start



For vehicles manufactured before October 1994, when starting in the cold can increase the idle speed manually using the system cold start, the control buttons on the dashboard. Since October 1994, a cold start accelerator cable has been replaced by an automatic mechanism to increase the idle speed set by the side of the pump.
Although button cold start acceleration device disposed on the left side of the instrument panel is sometimes compared to the choke button ("choke") for some gasoline engines, these devices have very little in common. The accelerator also include a cold start when the engine is cold, but the air flow is not reduced, and changed the time of injection (an earlier). A cold engine runs better because the fuel is injected into the hot compressed air. Also, the car accelerates better in this case the engine is cold.
The accelerator of cold start to be switched to a cold start, regardless of the ambient temperature (only at very low temperatures the ability to launch can be improved when the button is undrawn).
After a few minutes of travel accelerator cold start is to be disabled, but if this is not done, the engine will not get damaged.
Accelerator cold start acting like the regulator injection: via a lever rod acts on a piston injection controller and turn it in the same way as the fuel pressure at high engine speeds - back. The roller ring because this turns around 2,5 ?� towards the "past."
