Using the tools for removal and installation of clutch


A warning

When the clutch is formed dust which contains asbestos, unhealthy, so when cleaning the clutch does not use compressed air and do not inhale the dust. Purification of the clutch parts from dust produce using the brake fluid, or methyl alcohol. After cleaning the coupling parts with methyl alcohol or brake fluid, wipe the parts dry.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the gearbox.
2. Mark the position of leading knot of coupling in relation to the flywheel, using a marker or paint.
3. Using the special tool VW-3067 or the screwdriver, the teeth of the flywheel block a flywheel from turning.
4. Gradually in diagonal sequence to loosen the bolts leading knot of coupling, turning each bolt on half of turn until until the action of a spring and bolts can be unscrewed by hand.
5. Remove the pressure plate, thus support the clutch plate so that it does not fall.
6. Clean the dirt from the release bearing, but do not use solvents.
7. Clean the flywheel with gasoline.
