Coupling disk on cars with engines 1,4 and 1,6-I



PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the gearbox.
2. Using special tool VW 558 or screwdriver, the teeth of the flywheel block a flywheel from turning.
3. Gradually in diagonal sequence to loosen the screws of the flywheel, turning each bolt on half of turn until until the action of a spring and bolts can be unscrewed by hand.
4. Remove the flywheel.
5. Remove the clutch disc.
6. Using a blade screwdriver, remove the retaining ring (A) holding the cut-off disc (B) and remove the lever and the retaining ring.
7. Remove the cut-off disc.
8. Using the special adaptation VW 558, fix the pressure plate from turning, and unscrew it from the crankshaft. In the absence of a special device Grip pressure plate blade screwdriver.
9. Remove the pressure plate and a steel plate.
10. Wipe down the flywheel with a cloth soaked in gasoline.
