Removing and installing Lambda probe
EGR models with diesel engine SDI
1 - the lower part of the intake manifold; 2 - seal. When installing a new seal must be used; 3 - recirculation valve; | 4 - a bolt, 25 Nm; 5 - clip; 6 - a bolt, 10 Nm; 7 - connecting pipe |
EGR system in vehicles with diesel TDI engine
1 - intake manifold; 2 - O-ring. When installing, use a new sealing ring; 3 - suction pipe; 4 - Valve exhaust gas recirculation; | 5 - a bolt, 10 Nm; 6 - from the radiator nadduvaemogo air; 7 - seal. When installing a new seal must be used; 8 - a nut, 25 Nm; 9 - the exhaust manifold; 10 - connecting pipe |
Lambda sensor is used to adjust the composition of the exhaust gases in cars with petrol engines and is screwed into a reception exhaust pipe around catalyst.
Withdrawal
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Lift the car and fix on supports. About Catalyst remove a protective casing covering the electric connector Lambda sensor. Release of the bracket wire lambda sensor (see. Fig. To 3 of sub-section 5.2). On all-wheel drive models and models with engine 1,6-I with an automatic transmission Lambda sensor is installed in the exhaust manifold. On models with engine 1,4-I lambda sensor is mounted near the front of the gasket flange reception exhaust pipe. | 2. Using a wrench, unscrew the lambda sensor from a reception exhaust pipe. |
|
Setting
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Coat the threads of lambda sensor thin layer of grease G5. | 2. When installing a new lambda sensor on its thread already has a lubricant. Do not lubricate the working part of the lambda sensor. | 3. Screw the lambda sensor reception exhaust pipe and tighten it to 50 Nm. | 4. Connect the electrical connector to the lambda sensor and fasten the wire electrical connector. Close the electric socket protective cover. | 5. Lower the car. |
