Lambda sensor is used to adjust the composition of the exhaust gases in cars with petrol engines and is screwed into a reception exhaust pipe around catalyst.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and fix on supports. About Catalyst remove a protective casing covering the electric connector Lambda sensor. Release of the bracket wire lambda sensor (see. Fig. To 3 of sub-section 5.2). On all-wheel drive models and models with engine 1,6-I with an automatic transmission Lambda sensor is installed in the exhaust manifold. On models with engine 1,4-I lambda sensor is mounted near the front of the gasket flange reception exhaust pipe.
2. Using a wrench, unscrew the lambda sensor from a reception exhaust pipe.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Coat the threads of lambda sensor thin layer of grease G5.
2. When installing a new lambda sensor on its thread already has a lubricant. Do not lubricate the working part of the lambda sensor.
3. Screw the lambda sensor reception exhaust pipe and tighten it to 50 Nm.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the lambda sensor and fasten the wire electrical connector. Close the electric socket protective cover.
5. Lower the car.
