Countershaft



Removal of the intermediate shaft is performed with the engine removed from the car, in the following order:

Oil pump and oil filter

Oil pump and oil filter: 1 - the index of level of engine oil; 2 - cylinder block; 3 - Cover the drive shaft of the oil pump; 4 - the oil pump drive gear; 5 - an intermediate shaft; 6 - a cover of the intermediate shaft; 7 - an asterisk of an intermediate shaft; 8 - the intermediate shaft sprocket timing; 9 - bolt Stars intermediate shaft; 10 - a shaft of the oil pump; 11 - the oil pump; 12 - a bolt of fastening of the oil pump; 13 - installation of oil receiving pipe; 14, 16 - bolts of oil receiving pipe; 15 - oil receiving pipe; 17 - a cover of the oil filter; 18 - a sealing ring; 19 - the oil filter; 20 - the case of the oil filter; 21 - bolts of fastening of the oil filter housing


- Unscrew and remove the cover 3 (Fig. 3.58), the drive shaft of the oil pump;
- Unscrew and remove the intermediate shaft 6;
- Remove the intermediate shaft 5.
Installing the intermediate shaft is performed in reverse order of removal. The cover 6 is mounted intermediate shaft timing mark upward.
