Countershaft
Removal of the intermediate shaft is performed with the engine removed from the car, in the following order:

- Unscrew and remove the cover 3 (Fig. 3.58), the drive shaft of the oil pump; - Unscrew and remove the intermediate shaft 6; - Remove the intermediate shaft 5. Installing the intermediate shaft is performed in reverse order of removal. The cover 6 is mounted intermediate shaft timing mark upward.
