Timing

Timing
Fig. 3.56. Timing: 1 - an intermediate shaft; 2 - the camshaft sprocket; 3 - circuit timing; 4 - axis of the shoe chain tensioner timing; 5 - shoe chain tensioner timing; 6 - chain tensioner timing; 7 - an intermediate shaft driven sprocket; 8 - sprocket timing; 9 - bolt Stars intermediate shaft; 10 - tensioner for driving the intermediate shaft; 11 - bolt chain tensioner intermediate shaft; 12 - the crankshaft; 13 - chain drive intermediate shaft; 14 - pacifier chain drive intermediate shaft; 15 - toes pacifier chain drive intermediate shaft; 16 - pacifier chains drive the camshafts; 17 - bolt of the camshaft sprocket; 18 - clutch drive of the distributor of ignition

Timing is performed by the crankshaft through a chain gear through an intermediate shaft (Fig. 3.56). 3 Tensioning the chain timing governed by the bolt tensioner 10 6. Hydraulic circuit intermediate shaft automatically adjusts its tension.
Removing the timing is performed in the following order:

Combining labels setting number 1 cylinder piston to TDC
Fig. 3.57. Combining labels installations Piston number 1 TDC 1 - camshaft drive chain; 2 - an asterisk of an intermediate shaft; 3 - an asterisk of an intermediate shaft leading timing; 4 - an intermediate shaft drive chain; 5 - chain tensioner drive intermediate shaft; 6 - lock chain tensioner intermediate shaft; 7 - crankshaft sprocket; 8 - pacifier chain drive intermediate shaft; 9 - TDC timing marks; 10 - bolt Stars intermediate shaft

- Set the number 1 cylinder piston at TDC compression stroke by turning the crankshaft clockwise to align the timing marks (Fig. 3.57);
- Loosen the tension of the chain 3 (see. Fig. 3.56) timing for this, remove the chain tensioner bolt 6;
- Apply paint marks on the timing chain in the areas shown in Fig. 3.57;
- Lock the crankshaft from turning;

Oil pump and oil filter
Fig. 3.58. Oil pump and oil filter: 1 - the index of level of engine oil; 2 - cylinder block; 3 - Cover the drive shaft of the oil pump; 4 - the oil pump drive gear; 5 - an intermediate shaft; 6 - a cover of the intermediate shaft; 7 - an asterisk of an intermediate shaft; 8 - the intermediate shaft sprocket timing; 9 - bolt Stars intermediate shaft; 10 - a shaft of the oil pump; 11 - the oil pump; 12 - a bolt of fastening of the oil pump; 13 - installation of oil receiving pipe; 14, 16 - bolts of oil receiving pipe; 15 - oil receiving pipe; 17 - a cover of the oil filter; 18 - a sealing ring; 19 - the oil filter; 20 - the case of the oil filter; 21 - bolts of fastening of the oil filter housing

- Loosen the fastening bolt 9 Stars of the intermediate shaft and remove sprocket 8 (see. Fig. 3.58);
- Remove the chain 3 timing;
- Remove an asterisk of an intermediate shaft 7;
- Remove the drive chain 4 intermediate shaft. (see. Fig. 3.57).

A WARNING
Do not turn the crankshaft after removing the timing chain. This will cause the piston stroke of the valves.

Setting the timing is performed in the following order:
- Check the number 1 cylinder piston at TDC, with the short sprocket tooth 7 (see. Fig. 3.57), the camshaft must be aligned with the timing mark 9 on the front cover of the crankshaft;
- Set circuit 4 drives the intermediate shaft sprocket on the crankshaft 7;
- Establish a chain of 4 star 2 intermediate shaft sprocket 2 and set on the intermediate shaft;
- Check the alignment tabs on the intermediate shaft sprocket 2 with the mounting mark on the cover of the intermediate shaft;
- Establish an asterisk 3 on the intermediate shaft and tighten a bolt of fastening of asterisks 10 to 100 N ? m, secure from turning the intermediate shaft;
- Set the guide 16 (see. Fig. 3.56) camshaft drive chain;
- Install the cylinder head (see. Sect. 3.2.5);
- Make sure that the camshafts are installed in a position corresponding to the TDC Piston number 1;
- Fix the camshafts from turning;
- Establish an asterisk on 2 camshafts stars wearing the chain 3;
- Set the clutch actuator 18, the distributor of ignition and tighten the bolts 17 fastening of asterisks of camshafts;
- Tighten the screws 17 to 100 N ? m by holding the camshafts from turning with a wrench;
- Unlock the piston of the hydraulic tensioner 5 intermediate shaft drive train by turning the lock with a screwdriver 6;
- Set the tensioner 5 and tighten it to a torque of 20 Nm;
- Check the combination of adjusting labels;
- Unlock the camshafts;
- Complete the remaining operations in the reverse order of removal.
