Removing and installing oil pan



The oil pan can be removed from the engine mounted on the car, in the following order:

The front and back cover of the crankshaft, oil pan

The front and back cover of the crankshaft, oil pan: 1 - plug the oil passage; 2 - cylinder block; 3 - timing cover; 4 - the bolt of the rear cover of the crankshaft; 5 - rear cover of the crankshaft; 6 - crankshaft rear oil seal; 7 - a lining of the oil pan; 8 - The oil pallet; 9 - the oil drain plug; 10 - a bolt of fastening of the oil pallet; 11 - The front cover of the crankshaft; 12 - the bolt of the front cover of the crankshaft; 13 - crankshaft front oil seal


- Drain the engine oil by removing the plug 9 (see. Fig. 3.54), oil drain plug;
- Hang out the engine with the lifting mechanism;
- Unscrew and remove the protection of the oil pan;
- Remove the bolts securing the oil pan 10 and remove the oil pan 8 with the gasket 7.
Installing the oil pan is carried out in reverse order of removal. After installation, fill the engine oil.
