Heater



Removal and installation of a heater in the following order:
- Drain the coolant from the cooling system;
- Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery;

- Release the bracket, disconnect the supply and return hoses from the fittings radiator 2 (see. Fig. 3.69) on the partition heater from the engine compartment;
- Remove the steering wheel;
- Remove the instrument panel and center panel.
Check the connection of electric wires and distribution of wire harnesses and disconnect them as follows:
- The center console;
- The lower part of the instrument panel trim on the right and left side;
- radio;
- Panel heater, with leave management cables connected to the instrument panel and heater;
- Glovebox;
- Left and right air ducts;
- dashboard;
- Remove the panel from the back side of the engine fan heater;
- Unscrew the two screws securing the block heater on a partition from the engine compartment;

- Remove the unit and disconnect the heater duct 6 (Fig. 4.8), connecting the heater and fan 8;
- Remove the heat sink 2 from the block heater;

- Disconnect the cables (Fig. 4.9), the heater control, noting their location and connection to the switch lever;
- Free bracket, unscrew the screws and disunite the heater housing.
Installation Removal of elements made in sequence, return to removal.
