Removal and installation of a camshaft (the engine installed on)

The shaft can be removed and mounted on the engine established in the car. To carry out this work should be as follows:
- To rotate the crankshaft until none of the pistons is at TDC;
- Disconnect the upper part of the protective shield of a gear belt;
- Remove the cylinder head cover;
- Unscrew the bolt of a pulley of a camshaft;
- Slacken the timing belt as described in the previous section;
- Remove the timing belt and remove the sprocket with the camshaft;
- Remove the ignition distributor (Sect. 7.2.5);

- Using Fig. 32, turn slowly liberated on each side and remove covers bearing number 5, 1, and 3. Remove the two screws 1 (Fig. 86) from the front cover of the bearing;
- Loosen evenly crosswise nut bearing cap number 2 and number 4 to complete the liberation of the two covers. Remove the lid and remove the shaft. Inspect the cover. A wide bead (see. Fig. 32) is on the inlet side of the engine. No. The cover should be read on the exhaust side of the engine;
- If necessary, remove the pushers. Poskolku pushers can not be interchanged, it is necessary to mark their best mark lines on the inner side, for example, the first cam is denoted by a single line, the second - the two, etc. When storing pushers laid on the plane of contact with the cams so that the oil does not change its position. Proceed as follows, starting from the timing.
When installing the camshaft to:
- Lubricate the neck of a camshaft with engine oil and install the shaft bearing in bed;
- Take turns up bearing caps and determine which side is wide shoulder A indicated in Fig. 32. It falls on the intake side of the engine. Set the lid in accordance with the numbering sequence. Numbers (B) must be clearly visible from the exhaust manifold;
- Check to see whether any of the piston at TDC, and tighten bearing cap number 2 and number 4 alternately crosswise torque of 6 Nm;
- Tighten bearing cap number 3, 1 and 5 alternately crosswise torque of 6 Nm;
- Tighten all the nuts turn 1/4 turn (90 ?);
- Install and tighten the two screws 1 (see. Fig. 86) to 10 N ? m;
- Re-establish a drive belt, as described above, and perform other work in the reverse of removal.

Note
If new hydropushers not start up the engine for about 30 minutes, as otherwise the pistons may strike the valve.
