Checking the system for leaks

If the liquid level in the tank is constantly falling, you can set the location of the leak. The operation must be carried out with an assistant:
- Assistant to turn the steering wheel from lock to lock, holding it for a short time in extreme positions. At the same time, the system creates the maximum possible pressure, and fluid begins to flow through existing leaks;
- Check the underside of the car gear shift covers rack and check the seals of the rack, check the power steering pump and a connection for the tubes. Traces of oil in these places - a sign of a leak.
