Methods troubleshoot cable

If the test cable adjustment mechanism to achieve success is not possible, perhaps, the reason lies in the poor performance of the mechanism. Assuming that the clutch cable is OK, then again to ensure its operation as follows:

- Release the clutch cable from the mount arm on the clutch abruptly pulling it in the direction A;

- Press the stop on the clutch pedal;

- Shift the outer sheath towards the front of the engine (arrow B) while cable adjustment mechanism will not succumb to compression cuff portion;

- Reinstall the clutch cable in a knot fastening on the lever of the clutch;

- Once again test the functionality of the cable adjustment mechanism as described. Otherwise it is necessary to replace the cable.
