Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition

To remove the distributor should:
- Remove the high voltage wires from the distributor cap or remove the distributor cap by releasing the spring clips;
- Remove the plug Hall sensor located on the side of the distributor. Wherein zipping locking tabs to release the connector;
- Crank the engine up until the first cylinder is at TDC would be the compression stroke, and noting a sharp object point position of the top rotor on the outer side surface of the distributor housing. On a side surface of the distributor is marked with which the position of the rotor distributor shall be verified when the piston of first cylinder is at TDC. Pos. 12 Fig. 125 shows where the label. To scroll through the insert socket head bolt in the crankshaft;

Fig. 125. The view of the distributor of ignition and ignition coils (system Mono-Motronic): 1 - a wire to connect with the body; 2 - pin connector; 3 - nut 10 Nm; 4 - the output stage of the high-voltage transformer (N157); 5 - high voltage transformer (N152); 6 - suppression resistor, 0.6-1.4 kW; 7 - turning lock; 8 - shielding cover; 9 - a cover to separate the breaker from the distributor; 10 - the ignition distributor rotor (R1); 11 - dust cover; 12 - marking the cylinder number 1; 13 - the ignition distributor with Hall sensor (G40); 14 - O-ring (always replace); 15 - a bolt, 20 Nm (observe exactly); 16 - the gauge of detonation, except engines volume of 1.0 liters; 17 - a spark plug 25 Nm; 18 - a tip of the wire to the spark plug; 19 - high voltage wire

- Unscrew the two screws on the distributor and remove the valve from the cylinder head. Remove planted under his O-ring.
If the motor does not rotate or on the distributor has not been any repair work, re-install the valve to its original position.
If the distributor is set after the repair of the engine or the engine is cranked, then proceed as follows:
- To bring the first cylinder to TDC of the compression stroke, i.e., both valves must be closed (if the cap is removed the cylinder head), or to crank the engine up until the mark on the belt pulley is not located on the same line with the adjustment of the metal plate on the front of engine;
- Expand distributor rotor so that it faces in the direction of the applied mark on the edge of the housing of the distributor;
- Re-establish the ignition distributor, two bolts and tighten them;
- Reinsert the plug into the socket on the rail and press in on the locking tabs;
- Finally check the ignition timing. To do this, be sure to use the lamp with flash (strobe), which makes it possible to observe how the ignition timing is adjusted.
