Air suspension

Ride height adjustment
You can select the level of the four chassis (Lade, StraKen, Offroad and X'tra).

NOTE
Adjusting the ride height gives the possibility to change the height of the chassis of the vehicle above the roadway.

In all four different chassis settings on both axles of the car maintains a constant height above the road, depending on the load. Height sensors tell the system data on the magnitude of the distance between the axles and the body. If the actual distance is different from the nominal value by means of the compressor and the receiver changes the air pressure in the suspension and the rated value of the distance between the axles and the body for a given level.
When using the key ?LOCK? was activated mode lift the car to change the wheel and fitting for tire inflation was wearing hose, then leveling suspension is automatically deactivated.
When driving on normal roads, we recommend installing ground clearance for the road StraKen.
When one of the units flashes flashing corresponding pointer on the dashboard. The pointer stops blinking only when is reached a predetermined ground clearance.

The action of the system when selecting a high ground clearance
When you select a driver high ground clearance, the system checks whether enough compressed air in the receiver to increase ground clearance. If there is sufficient amount of compressed air in the receiver process of increasing the ground clearance takes a few seconds.
If the receiver at the time of selecting a new ride was empty, the compressed air in the air suspension begins to flow from the compressor. This process can take several minutes, and the duration depends on the operating temperature of the compressor. The fact that the compressor at the maximum permissible operating temperature is automatically deactivated and is activated again after cooling.
The process of changing ride height will not start when the display shows "air supply into the receiver." In this case, wait a few minutes and then set the required ground clearance.
The action of the system when selecting a lower ride height
Switching to a lower ground clearance made the release of compressed air from the air springs.
The only exception is the transition to the level of Lade. Lowering the body at this level occurs only when the supply of compressed air in the receiver is sufficient for subsequent transition to level StraKen.
If the supply of compressed air is insufficient, lowering body occurs. The display appears in the instrument panel: "The air supply to the receiver."

Change clearance (level trim)
1. Key LOCK.
Speed limit to 70 km / h at ground clearance Offroad.
Activation lift car to change the wheel.
2. Lade - a constant and very low ground clearance.
3. StraKen - automatically regulated depending on the speed of ground clearance.
4. Offroad - automatically regulated depending on the speed of ground clearance.
5. X'tra - a constant and largest ground clearance.
6. The rotary switch for selection of clearance.

Bodies of ride height adjustment
Fig. 1.116. Bodies of ride height adjustment

To get the desired clearance is necessary that the rotary switch 6 (Fig. 1.116) was not drowned. If he drowned, click it. Set the desired ground clearance and utopias switch.
Switch 6 is fixed in positions 3 and 4. If you want to install Level 2 or 5, turn the switch to the appropriate position. In this switch position is not fixed. Selection of Level 2 or 5 can be canceled if you turn the switch back to the same position.
On the selected level lights indicate the appropriate icon at the switch.
In principle, the choice of any level is possible only when the limit speed for the selected clearance at the time of its installation has not been exceeded (for example, 5 km / h when choosing the level Lade or 20 km / h in the selection level X'tra). Otherwise, given the installation of clearance will not occur. The display shows the message: "Impossible."

Ground clearance

Emergency stop
All the processes of change in ride height immediately terminated and set the previous level if when changing ride height switch off the ignition.
The values are valid for the stationary vehicle. When driving, these values may vary due to the level control.

NOTE
While flashing pointer in the instrument panel, the selected level has not been reached.

Key ?LOCK?
To select the speed limit level Offroad.

NOTE
Key ?LOCK? performs two functions: speed limit and the activation "mode lift the car to change the wheel."

Key ?«LOCK?» in the center console
Fig. 1.117. Key ?LOCK? in the center console

Press ?LOCK? the maximum speed will be limited to about 70 km / h (Fig. 1.117).
To activate the lift car to change the wheel, stop the car and apply the parking brake.

NOTE
The value of the speed limit at a low level ?LOW? drivetrain installed engine management system. Speed limit is in the range from about 70 to 100 km / h.

Leave the ignition on.
Press and hold down the ?LOCK? more than five seconds. Mode "lift the vehicle to change a wheel" is now activated.
Switch off the ignition.
The speed limit is carried out the engine control unit and operates only when the vehicle is at a preset level Offroad.
After pressing the ?LOCK? it illuminates, the maximum speed is limited to 70 km / h. If the vehicle is moved to this point faster introduction of speed limits does not occur, and the dashboard message appears: "You can not."
The speed limit is introduced only when the car is at a preset level Offroad began to move slowly to 70 km / h and the key ?LOCK? was re-pressed. When this function is not possible in off-road conditions lowering of the vehicle body. Subsequent pressing the speed limit is lifted. This should further reduce the pressure on the gas pedal.
The speed limit contributes to safety on bad roads. Before driving on ordinary roads with normal coating turn the speed limit.
At speeds above 65 km / h warning signal and the corresponding icon on the display driver to remind us of the previously set speed limit. When refusing speed limit function at speeds above approximately 78 km / h on the display icon appears in red and sounds three warning signal. When driving at speeds above approximately 80 km / h is automatically set StraKen level and the speed limit is lifted.
To activate the lift car to change a wheel, it is necessary to stop the car and leave the ignition is switched on. Then press the ?LOCK? and keep it down for more than five seconds. In the active state mode lift the car to change the wheel indicates the message on the display and the flashing warning lamp in the button ?LOCK?. After activating this mode, you can switch off the ignition.
When an active mode lift the car to change the wheel-leveling suspension is impossible to avoid changes in the level of the vehicle when installed under the vehicle jack. This maintains the previously set level. After changing the wheel with the ignition on, press and hold down the ?LOCK? more than five seconds, or ride at a speed higher than 5 km / h for the reverse inclusion ride height adjustment.

Characteristics of individual levels

Levels mounted on the center console
Fig. 1.118. Levels mounted on the center console

Lade Level 1 (Fig. 1.118) can be set only when stationary or moving at pedestrian speed car. Set this level is recommended for loading and unloading luggage. At the level of Lade achieved remains unchanged and the lowest ground clearance. If you turn off the ignition when not yet reached the level of Lade, set the previous level.
When driving at speeds above 5 km, it automatically switches to the level StraKen.
StraKen level 2 (default setting) is recommended for all normal roads. Depending on the speed of the ground clearance is reduced or increased. When reaching a speed of about 125 km / h ground clearance is reduced by about 25 mm. With further increase in speed to a value of more than 180 km / h ground clearance reduced by 10 mm. When driving at speeds below 150 km / h for more than 15 sdorozhny lumen increases.
By reducing ground clearance when driving at high speeds is increased driving stability, improved manageability, and reduced aerodynamic drag.
Adjusting Offroad 3 is recommended when driving on bad roads and off-road. When this adjustment, first set very high ground clearance, the value of which was later adjusted depending on the speed. Leveling suspension, depending on the speed does not occur when the lights corresponding key.
Offroad level is saved only at speeds up to 70 km / h. If the speed is greater StraKen level is automatically set. If you are moving more than half a minute slower than 40 km / h, automatically set the level again Offroad. to go long on bad roads to the level Offroad, you must activate the speed limit.
It is recommended when driving on bad roads to activate the speed limit. This makes it possible to prevent the constant rise and fall of ground clearance, and the ground clearance will match the state of the road.
When established levels and Offroad X'tra on display range from the ever-present testimony. It provides current information on the magnitude of the actual vehicle level.
Setting the X'tra recommended when driving over obstacles and sat down with the release of the vehicle to the ground, since this setting gives the greatest and constant ground clearance. X'tra mode should not be set permanently.
Always go to the next level, when there is no need to have the maximum possible ground clearance.
Level X'tra stored only up to a speed of 20 km / h. If you go faster, it automatically switches to the level Offroad.

NOTE
If you choose any level, but to achieve this level to turn off the ignition, set the level that was before.
