Help when starting the engine

Connecting cables
Turn the ignition on both cars.

Positive and negative pins to connect the auxiliary battery
Fig. 1.151. Positive and negative pins to connect the auxiliary battery

In the engine compartment, fold the cover toward the plus red pin in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 1.151).
Connect the end of the red cable to the positive pole + Car with the flat battery.
Connect the other end of the red cable to the positive pole + Car donor.
Connect the end of the black cable to the negative pole - of the donor car.
Connect the other end of the black cable to the negative pin - a car with a flat battery.
Position wires so that they do not touch the rotating parts in the engine compartment.

Engine start
Start the engine of the donor, and let it run at idle.
Start the engine of the car with the discharged battery, and wait a few minutes until the engine begins to run smoothly.

Disconnecting cables
Before disconnecting the cable, turn off outdoor lights when it is on.
Turn on the car with the flat battery fan, heated rear window, to pay off a power surge when the cable is disconnected.
Disconnect with power both cables in the reverse order.
Close the cover of the plus red pin.
