Engine start



Position 0.

When in this position (Fig. 1.108) is inserted into the ignition key that automatically unlocks the steering (steering lock is unlocked), and when the key is removed - steering lock is activated again.
Ignition 1.
The key must be turned to this position and release.
2 Start the engine.
In this position, the key is to start the engine. At the same time all of the major electricity consumers are temporarily disabled.
Turning off the ignition 3.
The key must be turned to this position and release.

ATTENTION
Starter can be activated only with the engine off (ignition key in position 2). If the starter immediately after turning off the engine, the starter may be broken or the engine.

NOTE
If you release the ignition key positions 1, 2 or 3, it automatically returns to the 0 position.
If abandoned key in the ignition lock open the driver's door beep sounds. Signal recalls that should remove the ignition key.
When the engine stopped and the ignition on, including the largest consumers of electricity (eg, heated seats, heated rear window), after a certain time, they are automatically turned off in order to allow sufficient battery power to start the engine. In automatic shutdown indicates a corresponding message on the display of the instrument panel. Minor power consumers, such as parking lights, can not significantly drain the battery, and they are not disabled.
