Adjusting the tension of the toothed belt

Weakening

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the top casing of a gear belt.
2. Fit the tensioning pulley wrench tool, for example NA2ET 2587.
3. Loosen the screw securing the ring spanner tension roller.
4. Turn the tension roller to the left, in the opposite direction (see. Fig. Adjustment of a tension of a gear belt) and loosen the timing belt.

Tension

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn the tensioner roller to the right in the direction of the arrow (see. Fig. Adjustment of a tension of a gear belt) and pull the toothed belt.
2. Toothed belt, when exposed to the thumb and forefinger in the middle between the camshaft drive gear and the intermediate gear can be twisted by 90 ?�.
3. Tighten the nut on the tensioning pulley to 45 Nm.
4. Install the top casing of a gear belt.
5. Run the engine. If the belt whistles, as a rule, the tension is too high.
