Engine cooling system

The tightness of the cooling system and the work of the overpressure valve in the radiator cap can be checked by the monitoring device VW in 1274 and 1274/1 A.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the control device to the pipe fill coolant expansion tank.
2. Use the hand pump device to create and maintain a positive pressure of about 1.0 bar.
3. If the pressure drops, check the tightness of the cooling system inspection and fix the leak.
4. To test the overpressure valve in the expansion tank cap, set the control panel on the cover.
5. Create a positive pressure hand pump. When an overpressure of 1.2-1.5 bar overpressure valve must open.
