5-cylinder diesel engine



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the brake booster vacuum hose on the vacuum pump on the side of the cylinder head.
2. Remove the coolant hose from the connecting pipe on the cylinder head of the thermostat housing.
3. Remove the thin coolant hose near the 1st cylinder (from the toothed belt) on the intake manifold.
4. Clean the means of cold clearing compound feed conduits pump and injectors, to unscrew them. Close pollution openings corresponding caps.

A warning

Bending supply lines do not change.


5. Remove the return hose from the fuel injector 5 cylinder.
6. Remove the glow plugs and injectors (see. Subsection 2.17.7.2 and Subsection 2.17.7.5).
7. Remove both toothed belt.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Refinement of the cylinder head of the diesel engine is not allowed.
2. When replacing the gasket to pay attention to the designation and install a new gasket of the same designation. Designation cylinder head gasket with holes and notches (arrow) can be seen also in the installed cylinder head. Depending on the piston projection mounted cylinder head gaskets of different thicknesses.
3. Cylinder head gasket replace always. This new gasket should have the same definition as the old one. Only after installing new pistons or the engine can be measured by the protrusion of the new pistons and define a new gasket thickness.

A warning

Bolts cylinder head is always replaced.


4. Bolts cylinder head of the diesel engine is also delayed as a gasoline engine. However, the cylinder head bolts are tightened further diesel engine on the warm engine.
5. Install the glow plugs (see. Subsection 2.17.7.2).
6. Place the nozzle (see. Subsection 2.17.7.5).
7. Clean the connection supply lines means of cold clearing. Tighten the union nuts to 25 Nm.
8. Attach a hose of return of fuel to the nozzle of the cylinder 5.
9. Install both toothed belt (see. Subsection 2.5.2.1).
10. Push the brake booster vacuum hose to a vacuum pump on the side of the cylinder head and secure the clamp.
11. Wear a thin coolant hose near the 1st cylinder on the intake manifold and secure the clamp.
12. Attach the coolant hose to the connection on the cylinder head of the thermostat housing and fix the collar.
13. Check the start of the supply pump (see. Subsection 2.17.7.6).

A warning

Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the engine is warm.


14. Warm up the engine until the fan turns on.
15. Remove the cylinder head cover.
16. Tighten all bolts to the cylinder head in the prescribed manner (see. Fig. Tightening the cylinder head bolts) hard key without loosening, and at one time a 1/4 turn (90 ?�).

A warning

Further tightening the cylinder head bolts after 1000 kilometers unacceptable.


17. Install the cylinder head cover.
