Check and adjust idle and marginal revolutions

Since diesel engines have no ignition system, you need a special meter speed (tachometer) VDO. It is connected to the generator terminals.

If the machine is equipped with a tachometer, for checking and adjusting can take advantage of it.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature. The oil temperature is not less than 60 ?� C.
2. Connect the tachometer.
3. A rope damper accelerator of cold start is not removed.
4. All electrical consumers (radio, light) should be turned off.
5. Check idle speed, the limit value for the 1.9-liter engine: 850 ?� 30 rev / min; 2.4-liter engine: 850 ?� 50 rev / min. If necessary, adjust the idle speed adjustment screw 1. Right: Turnover increased. Left: Turnover decreased.
A warning

If the 4-cylinder engine idle speed falls below 880 r / min, as the emphasis is adjacent to the stop screw 3, raskontrit stop screw and unscrew. Idle adjust the adjusting screw 1 to screw stop screw until it stops at point blank range and lock.

6. Pull the rope until the first cold start fixing. Turnover should grow by about 60 rev / min.
7. Remove the wire cold start to the end. Turnover should increase to approximately 1050 ?� 50 rev / min.
8. If the desired value is reached, adjust wire cold start.
A warning

If the desired value of 1050 rev / min, despite correct adjustment cable cold start is not reached - raskontrit abutment screw (4). Adjust, if fully taken out security cable, using the stop screw turns, and lock the stop screw.


Checking the limit of revolutions
9. Post a "full throttle". Required value: 4800 ?� 100 r / min.
10. If necessary, loosen the lock nut of the adjusting screw (2) (4-cylinder engine) or (3) (5-cylinder engine), and adjust the limit speed. Then tighten the lock nut.
A warning

Processing sealed screw cap and is usually not adjustable. If, inadvertently, the tension of the screw was changed, it may appear the following conditions: 1. The screw is screwed - enrichment is too large, the idle speed is high, unregulated. 2. Screw unscrewed - the enrichment of too little bumps while driving or acceleration at low revs. If necessary, make basic setting. To do this, remove the cap and screw raskontrit.


11. Enrichment too little: gradually adjusting screw to be screwed until the momentum will no longer grow, and then turn the screw 1/2 turn.
12. Enrichment is too high (too high turnover): unscrew the adjusting screw up until the revolutions will no longer decline, then screw the screw 1/2 turn.
13. Lock the adjusting screw and seal the new cap.
