Checking the fuel pump relay

Location of the relay and the fuel pump fuse

The fuel pump relay should be checked, if the fuel pump is not working.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the fuel pump fuse ?„–18. Faulty replaced.

2. Remove the fuel pump relay from the relay card (place relay ?„–12).

3. Turn the ignition switch.

4. Connect the LED:
- To pin 6 and the mass (-);
- To pin 2 and the mass (-);
- To pin 6 and 4.
The LED should light. Otherwise, find the open for wiring and correct.

5. Connect with the optional LED wires to the terminals 2 and 3.

6. Turn the ignition switch. The LED will light up for 1 sec., Otherwise check the wiring to the control unit Digifant for wiring (see. Subsection 10.20.9). Open to remove or replace the control unit.
