Temperature sensor fan

The temperature sensor should be checked if the engine is hot the fan is not included. Test condition: coolant thermostat, radiator and tube cooling system in good condition.

Temperature sensor fan is on the right at mid-height of the radiator (see. Fig. Radiator and fan). The temperature sensor has a two-stage switching. At high temperatures, it includes the fan on full speed.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the fuse ?19, replace if necessary.
2. Check whether the hot radiator in the temperature sensor.
3. Pull the plug from the sensor. In the cable connector to connect the first (+) terminal to terminal 1 (red / black cable), the fan should run at low speed. Then, connect the (+) terminal to terminal 2 (red / white cables), the fan should run at high speed (see. Table 1). If the fan works in both cases, replace the sensor.
4. If the fan does not work or only works at one speed, check the wiring on the wiring diagram. Check the contacts and connections, check relays, if necessary.
5. Tightening torque thermosensor 25 Nm.
6. Check the operation of the new thermal sensor. Warm up the engine in motion and leave to idle until the fan turns on.
