Checking the LEDs

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect the LED to DC voltage of 1.8 V. The LED should light. In the installed condition (on the dashboard) are connected pre-resistance, which reduces the battery voltage (12 V) to 1.8 V.

A warning

Pay attention to the correct polarity. Negative pole LED marked phase (1) on the body diode and a large pole (2) in the body of the diode. Some diodes a minus connection is further bent.


2. The plants for this purpose, use a digital multimeter VW-1315A. Press simultaneously the buttons resistance and voltage. Red terminal connected to a direct, positive connection of the diode, the black terminal to the black, curved a minus connection. The diode should be lit, otherwise it must be replaced.
