Wiper motor

Wiper motor is in the water box under the windshield, the rear wiper in the tailgate. To check the need to remove the corresponding fence. Below opisyvatsya check the windshield wipers. In the case of rear window wiper comes well.

Terminal codes

The motor terminals are normalized:

- Terminal 31, earth connection (common in the electrical machines);
- Terminal 53 receives voltage for the first speed wipers;
- Terminal 53a delivers a positive current (+) to the end position janitor: the motor is through a sliding contact voltage up until the wipers will not take the original, rest position, if the driver turns off the wipers;
- Terminal 53b applies a voltage to the second speed wipers (final secondary winding);
- Via terminal 53e when the engine is decelerated reverse motion after turning to the wipers did not fall below the idle position;
- There is not everywhere: terminal 53c applies a voltage to the electric water pump windscreen washing; terminal 53i is available at wiper motor with permanent magnet and third brush (for higher speed wipers).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. First, find out what is defective: wiper motor is energized or not. To do this, disconnect the multi plug from the engine wipers.
2. Using two additional wires draw from the battery to the motor voltage (+) and (-)
- One wire from the positive pole of the battery attached to the terminal 53 or 53b;
- The second from the negative terminal of the battery terminal 31 of the motor.
3. The wiper motor, depending on the connected terminals must operate at stage I or II. If not, faulty motor or the corresponding stage. Remove the wiper motor.
