Sound signal



Depending on the equipment of VW T4 is a single-channel or dual-tone horn, which are in the engine compartment under the bumper. By clicking on the horn switch on the steering wheel - the circuit is closed. For models with two-tone audible alarm, to reduce the load on contact, the relay is set. In both versions, at terminal 15 an audio signal voltage is always applied. Horn button completes the circuit to ground.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the plug while pressing the side staples. Unscrew the nuts and remove the horn.
2. With additional conductors connect a sound signal directly to the battery. Horn should work.
3. You can try to restore the faulty or malfunctioning signal turning the adjusting screw (arrow) Screwdriver Torx size T20, on the reverse side. First it is necessary to remove the sealant from the screw head. After adjustment re-apply the sealing mass on the body shop of the screw head, protecting it from moisture.
