Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition



Complete removal of the ignition distributor is only necessary when extensive renovations.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the crankshaft to TDC for cylinder 1.
2. Disconnect the high voltage wires from the distributor and remove the distributor, for that screwdriver to open the two side of the castle.
3. Pull the plug from the Hall sensor.
4-cylinder engine
4. Remove the retaining screw at the front of the distributor, after removing the protective cap. Remove the stopper and remove the ignition distributor.

A warning

The position of the crankshaft of the engine if the check valve is not changed.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installing check the position of the engine to TDC for cylinder 1. This means that the labels on the belt pulley of the crankshaft or flywheel, and a cam drive gear must coincide.
4-cylinder engine
2. In the opening of the distributor of ignition set landing neck oil pump shaft parallel to the propeller shaft (longitudinal axis of the motor).
3. Set the slider to the distributor so that the mark on it coincides with the mark on the edge of the timing case. At the same time the dust cap should be removed.
4. To establish the ignition distributor into position and secure.
5-cylinder engine
5. Remove the Rotor, distributor, remove the dust cap and then set the slider. Light rolling from side to side to check the reliability of mounting the slider.
6. Push the ignition distributor, to close paddle lock, after checking cover for cracks and replace if necessary.
7. If you disconnected, then connect the high voltage to the distributor cap.
8. Adjust the ignition timing.
