Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose.
2. Remove the water pump pulley and the crankshaft.
3. Remove the cover of a gear belt.
4. Take the tension roller of a gear belt to the water pump and temporarily secure it in this position.
5. Remove a gear belt from a camshaft pulley.
6. Remove the screws and remove the central cover.
7. Remove the ignition coils.
8. Remove the bolts and remove the cylinder head cover.
9. Remove the camshaft pulley.
10. Remove the camshaft bearing cap and chain.
11. Remove the camshafts.
12. Remove the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the camshaft to the absence of uneven wear, cracks or damage.
2. The two points to measure the height of each cam of the camshaft.

The nominal height of the cams of the inlet camshaft: 43.4483 mm
The nominal height of the exhaust camshaft: 43.8489 mm
Minimum permissible height of the cams of the inlet camshaft: 42.9484 mm
Minimum permissible height of the exhaust camshaft: 43.3489 mm

3. Check the surface of the cam to the absence of uneven wear and damage.
4. Check each bearing damage. If the working surface of the bearing excessively damaged, replace the cylinder head or the camshaft bearing cap.

Axial backlash of a camshaft: 0.1-0.2 mm

Forward sealing ring of a camshaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the sealing lips of the sealing ring for wear. If the working edge is worn or damaged, replace the O-ring.
2. Check the surface of the camshaft contact with the sealing ring. If the surface is uniformly worn, replace the camshaft.

Hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves

Fill the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves with engine oil, keep upright and your fingers to squeeze the two sides.

The basic malfunctions of hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves, causes and solutions are listed in the table.

Malfunction
Possible causes
Remedy
Temporary noise when starting from cold. Normal The noise disappears after warming up the engine oil and achieve a normal pressure
Continuous noise after the engine has not been run for 48 hours. Oil leaked from the chambers of hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves, and they hit the air The noise will disappear after 15 minutes of engine operation when the crankshaft reaches a speed of 2000-3000 min -1
A warning

Do not increase the engine speed of the engine above 3000 min -1, as this may damage the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves.

Continuous noise after starting the engine and replace the cylinder head Insufficient oil in the engine oil ducts
Continuous noise after a long start motor starter or towed Oil leaked from the chambers of hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves, and they hit the air
Continuous noise after replacing the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves
Continuous noise at the frequency of idling after driving at high speed The engine oil level is too low or too high Check the engine oil level
A large amount of air dissolved in the oil after high speed Check the oil supply
Deterioration of motor oil Check the oil and, if necessary, replace it
The noise lasts longer than 15 minutes The low pressure in the lubrication system Check the pressure in the lubrication system
Defective hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves Remove the cylinder head and pressing the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves, check the value of compression

Chain

Test circuit for uneven wear, cracks or damage and, if necessary, replace it.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves.
2. Place the chain on the sprocket camshaft as shown in the figure.
3. Before installation, apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to all sliding surfaces of camshafts. Install camshafts.
4. Install the camshaft bearing caps. Check the identification label defining camshafts intake or exhaust valves.
Inlet camshaft: I
Exhaust camshaft: E
5. Tighten the bearing cap torque.

Torque: 12-14 N ??? m

6. Apply engine oil working edges and an outer surface of the sealing ring and a special tool set 09221-21000 O-ring on the front of the camshaft.

Hammer blows on specially adapted set O-ring all the way into the slot.
7. Install the camshaft pulley and fix its bolt.

Torque: 80-100 N ??? m

8. the mark on the camshaft and mounting the crankshaft pulley mark pointer, the piston of 1st cylinder will be in the TDC on the compression stroke.
9. Replace the cover and tighten the cylinder head cover bolts to torque.

Torque: 8-10 N ??? m

10. Install the high-voltage wires, ignition coil and the center cover.
11. Install the timing belt tensioner and tighten the toothed belt.
12. Replace the timing belt covers.
13. Install the water pump pulley.
