Checking the thermostatic sensor (thermistor)



A thermistor monitors the temperature and turns off the main switch the air conditioning compressor, to prevent freezing of the evaporator with excessive cooling.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the glovebox.
2. Start up the engine.
3. Turn on the air conditioner.
4. Tester, measure the output voltage between terminals 2 and 3 of the thermistor.
