Replacement of the fuel filter

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and remove the inspection panel of the fuel pump. To relieve the pressure in the fuel system, disconnect the connector of the fuel pump, start the engine and wait until it stops due to running out of fuel from the fuel lines and the fuel line.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and connect the connector of the fuel pump.

A warning

Before releasing remove the fuel pressure in the fuel system, since, otherwise, the fuel under pressure will rapidly flow out of the fuel system.

3. Remove the screws that secure the fuel filter pipe clamps.

A warning

Close fuel filter cloth to prevent splashing of fuel caused by the residual pressure in the fuel line.

4. Remove the mounting bolts of the fuel filter and remove it from the bracket.
5. After replacing the fuel filter, check fuel system for leaks.
