Adjusting the tension of the alternator drive belt

PERFORMANCE ORDER

If the belt is slightly tensioned at work, he will publish a background noise, and will be subject to premature wear. If the belt is tightened strongly, damage to bearings of the water pump or generator.

Loosen the nut ?«A?» and the alternator mounting screw ?«B?» fixing bolt tension adjustment.

Turn the adjusting bolt to adjust the belt tension.
Tighten the screw ?«B?» fixing bolt tension adjustment.
Tighten the nut ?«A?» fixing the generator.
Check the tension of the belt and, if necessary, repeat the adjustment. Tightening torque nut ?«A?» fixing the generator: 20-25 N ??? m Bolt ?«B?» fixing bolt tension adjustment: 12-25 N ??? m.
