Removal and installation of the electronic ABS control unit

Withdrawal
Disconnect the brake pipes from the hydraulic unit ABS (Fig. 6.67).
Remove the bolt assembly of the hydraulic unit and the electronic control unit ABS (HESU), then remove the assembly (Fig. 6.68).

ATTENTION Never attempt to disassemble the assembly of the hydraulic unit and the electronic control unit ABS (HESU). The control unit has to be transported and stored vertically with the plugged holes. Brake fluid from the unit does not drain. |
Setting Installation is the reverse order of removal. Tighten bolts and nuts of the control unit and brake tubes regulated torque. Tightening torque of bolts: 8-10 Nm, nut tubing: 13-17 Nm.
