Removal, check and installation of the rear drum brakes
Withdrawal Remove the rear wheel.
Unscrew the nut and remove the wheel hub with brake drum (Fig. 6.43). Remove the lower return spring and the spring fixation pads.
Remove the brake pads and the regulator assembly (Fig. 6.44).

Nominal thickness of pads: 5.14 mm. Maximum thickness of the pads: 1.5 mm.

Check the runout of the brake drum.

Check the completeness of the contact pads and the brake drum (Fig. 6.47).
The inner diameter and the limiting brake drum runout
Setting
Apply special grease to the places indicated in the figure (Fig. 6.48).

Install a finger and a spring of fixing brake pads (Fig. 6.49).
Click on the pull and set the upper return spring (Fig. 6.50). After assembly, repeatedly press on the parking brake lever.
