Remove the rear wheel.

Unscrew the nut and remove the wheel hub with brake drum (Fig. 6.43).
Remove the lower return spring and the spring fixation pads.

Remove the brake pads and the regulator assembly (Fig. 6.44).

Measure the thickness of the brake pads (Fig. 6.45).
Nominal thickness of pads: 5.14 mm.
Maximum thickness of the pads: 1.5 mm.

Measure the inner diameter of the brake drum (Fig. 6.46).
Check the runout of the brake drum.
