Check of serviceability of functioning and replacement universal stalk

All considered models are equipped with an airbag. Cushion resides in the "heads-up" state and may operate (inflate) at any time at the connected battery. To avoid inadvertent deployment of the air (and result in the injury) each time when carrying out any work on the components of the security system disconnect the negative wire from the battery. After disconnecting the cables from the battery before starting work Wait for at least two minutes (the system is equipped with a condenser, which takes time to discharge). Read more about system security, see. Section Airbag - general information.

Universal stalk switch is located on the left side of the steering column and is used for the direction indicators, cleaners / washers of a windscreen and headlights flashing head.
